Minimalist interpretation

The apartment is in a Veronese nineteenth-century building not far from the Roman arena and the heart of the old city. It features, on the one hand, an unadorned, minimalist decor that reflects the owner's tastes, and on the other a conservative restoration inspired by the principles of symmetry and harmony. photogallery

View over the adige river

This Veronese apartment, which is arranged on two floors, looks out over the river and enjoys an unrivalled view of the Adige and of Castelvecchio. Conservation was a priority during restoration, as can be seen in the meticulous work to save the beams and wooden ceilings on the first floor. The bedroom on the second floor has an open-space design, with an eighteenth-century balustrade for protection. photogallery

a place for meditation

The apartment features a spacious living area, where the seventeenth-century fireplace is the focal point around which the furnishings and items on show in the room are arranged. The huge spaces are brimming with books, old prints, and other decorative objects purchased by the owners during their travels. The large roof lights in the sleeping area offer a magnificent view of the bell tower of the Romanesque basilica of San Zeno in Verona. photogallery
